The ceiling height is 8 ft. 6 in. in the clear. This type of gable barn is a favorite in certain sections of Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana. It has all the good features of the old timber framed barn, but is modern in construction. The frame is built of plank and the roof is supported by trusses.
