36 ft. wide, 70 ft. long and has a feed room annex 20 ft. wide and 20 ft. long. Grain bins are located on second floor of feed room and grain is spouted to hoppers below. There are two rows of cows, facing in, with cross alleys at the ends of stall rows. The entire ground floor and the foundation walls extending to the level of the window sills, are of concrete. The building above foundation wall is rigidly framed and trussed. The exterior walls are covered with drop siding. This Monitor roofed dairy barn is adapted to Southern, or Californian conditions only. It is especially well lighted, and sash are so arranged that they can be readily removed and blinds or screens attached. Owing to climatic conditions, this barn has no ventilation system. The windows and louvers in Monitor are depended upon for a thorough circulation of air. Page One IIundred' ISeventy--seven
